Who We Are

CarterMacKay was formed in 1970 in Great Neck, NY. Our charter was (and still is) the placement of sales, sales management, sales support, marketing and scientific professionals within several industries; most notably healthcare, information technology and business to business. Through carefully controlled internal growth, we have been able to expand our services to include scientific, industrial and information technology consulting.

At CarterMacKay, we truly function as a team, sharing ideas and assisting each other in our recruiting assignments. This informational flow better equips us to stay abreast of our clients’ needs and enables us to continually fine tune our skill sets. Management and staff engage in a continuous dialogue regarding the most current techniques utilized in the search industry.

Our internal structure is based on a vertical market strategy. Each Account Manager is a specialist working exclusively within one or two market segments and functions in a consultative capacity with clients who are in need of industry specific advice. Our Account Manager’s depth of knowledge within the markets they service, assures our clients of a competitive familiarity with not only their products and services, but of their competition as well.

Our management team is the product of a promote-from-within strategy that has enabled us to establish and maintain a very high level of quality throughout our organization. Through the years, we have recognized our top performers, moving them up through the organization, giving them the opportunity to take on a mentoring role with other team members.

Office Locations

CarterMacKay operates under two major hubs; Quincy, MA and Charleston, SC. In addition, CarterMacKay has several smaller satellite locations situated throughout the United States to offer our clients recruiting services in all 50 states plus Canada. All employees of CarterMacKay work directly for the company, not under any franchise association. This concept ensures a high level of quality control, integrity, respect, strong results as well as outstanding employee satisfaction.
